Trying to get back into the habit of consistently posting a JE and doing so at lunch…

Yesterday I did a little shopping to replace some worn-out clothes, nothing fancy and I’ll call those Christmas presents, along with the spaghetti pot I had to buy too. I originally bought a little one from Walmart, and I liked its size, but I guess the finish was cheap because when I pulled it out to use it I saw some spots of rust in the bottom of the pan. Well, the new one is non-stick and way bigger than I need – but I guess I won’t have to worry about boiling over based on how much I’ll be cooking in it.

I also bought some Christmas presents for the family, simple things that I’ll mail out after they arrive. (Can’t share here because they may be reading this too!) While doing that shopping I saw something I am not sure isn’t a scam – a power conditioner that you just plug into an outlet near your circuit breaker. I’m not sure how that’s supposed to fix distribution throughout my house, I would expect to have to place that before the circuit breaker to impact the whole house. I need to do some reading…
